HUMAN RESOURCES INTERN (6 months)
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our HR team for a 6-month period. This role offers hands-on experience across key HR functions, including HR operations and recruitment, providing a solid foundation in HR processes within an international environment.
As a Human Resources Intern, your role and responsibilities will be:
HR Operations:
Manage employee absences (sickness, accident, and other leave types) in the HRIS for Switzerland and the UK
Acknowledge absences and send Return-to-Work documentation to employees and managers
Update HR systems with completed absence information and documentation
Prepare intermediate and final employment certificates
Support HR audit preparation by ensuring all documentation is up to date (job descriptions, training matrices, assessments, absence forms, deputy matrices)
Coordinate and organize onboarding/induction plans for new hires, including scheduling sessions with trainers and participants
Collect and maintain employee documentation (new hires, contract changes, address updates, etc.)
Provide administrative HR support (, work permits, family allowance requests)
Review and improve the formatting and accessibility of HR policies
Maintain accurate HR records, including filing and document management (, absence packs, training folders)
Recruitment:
Assist in creating job requisitions in the HRIS
Publish job advertisements across relevant platforms
Screen CVs and applications based on predefined criteria
Conduct initial candidate outreach
Schedule interviews and coordinate logistics with candidates, hiring managers, and HR Business Partners
Maintain and update candidate tracking systems
Your profile and qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn
Comfortable working with HR systems and Microsoft Office tools
Fluent in English and French
