Job description / Role Job Type Full Time Job Location Abu Dhabi, UAE Nationality Any Nationality Salary Not Specified Gender Not Specified Arabic Fluency Not Specified Job Function Engineering - Civil & Construction Company Industry Construction Key Responsibilities: • Implement and maintain the project Quality Management System (QMS) in line with company and project requirements • Prepare, review, and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures • Conduct site inspections and ensure all works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards • Coordinate with consultants for work inspections (WIRs) and ensure timely approvals • Review and process Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) and ensure materials meet project specifications • Monitor subcontractors’ work to ensure adherence to quality standards and contractual requirements • Identify non-conformances (NCRs), track corrective actions, and ensure proper close-out • Liaise with site engineers, consultants, and client representatives to resolve quality-related issues • Maintain accurate quality documentation, reports, and records throughout the project lifecycle • Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards, project specifications, and local authority regulations • Support internal and external quality audits and ensure continuous improvement • Provide guidance and training to site teams on QA/QC procedures and best practices Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field • Proven experience working with a main contractor is essential • Minimum 5+ years of QA/QC experience within the UAE construction industry • Experience on Majlis, villa, or similar residential/cultural projects is preferred • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspections, and documentation (ITPs, MIRs, WIRs) • Ability to coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams • Strong understanding of material approvals, method statements, and testing procedures • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills About the Company Ignite Search & Selection is a leading Recruitment Agency in the Middle East.
