The ideal candidate will bring extensive accounting expertise, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with UAE regulations. • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including journals, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and UAE regulations.
• Coordinate and lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports to support business decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with VAT and other tax obligations in the UAE, including timely filing and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. CPA or CMA certification preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, ideally within the UAE or Middle East region
• Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations, VAT laws, and IFRS standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Quickbooks Online
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information clearly to stakeholders
