Job description / Role Job Type Full Time Job Location Abu Dhabi, UAE Nationality Any Nationality Salary 12000 - 12000 AED Gender Not Specified Arabic Fluency Not Specified Job Function Engineering - Civil & Construction Company Industry Construction Position Title: Senior Civil Inspector Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Purpose of the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Inspector with a strong background in engineering consultancy projects. The ideal candidate will have 15–20 years of experience in civil construction, with proven expertise in leading inspection teams, managing site inspections, and ensuring full compliance with quality standards across a variety of projects including high-rise buildings, low-rise developments, hotels, villas, and similar building projects. Key Duties & Responsibilities • Lead and manage a team of inspectors, ensuring all inspection activities are executed efficiently and in compliance with project requirements. • Conduct and oversee detailed inspections of civil works, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and quality procedures. • Review contractor submissions (shop drawings, materials, and testing reports) from a consultancy supervision perspective. • Supervise construction activities across high-rise, low-rise, hotel, and villa projects, ensuring quality workmanship and compliance. • Ensure all testing, inspections, and QA/QC processes are properly implemented and documented. • Identify non-conformities, issue NCRs, and follow up on corrective actions. • Coordinate with project management and QA/QC teams to monitor progress and resolve technical issues. • Review as-built drawings and close-out documentation for accuracy and compliance. • Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to junior inspectors. Requirements: Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. • 15–20 years of experience in civil construction, with a strong background in consultancy/engineering supervision. • Proven experience handling projects such as high-rise buildings, low-rise buildings, hotels, villas, and similar developments. • Strong leadership experience in managing inspection teams. • Extensive experience in site inspections, QA/QC, and supervision of civil works. • Solid understanding of international and local standards and specifications. • Experience in NCR management, contractor coordination, and quality assurance processes. • Excellent communication and reporting skills. • ADNOC experience is an advantage. • UAE-based candidates / Immediate joiners preferred. Salary: AED 12000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
