Job description / Role Job Type Full Time Job Location Dubai, UAE Nationality Any Nationality Salary Not Specified Gender Not Specified Arabic Fluency Not Specified Job Function Engineering - Civil & Construction Company Industry Construction Key responsibilities: • Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in line with local and international standards. • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the workplace. • Work with project managers to develop and maintain project-specific safety plans. • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. • Investigate accidents and incidents and provide recommendations for prevention. • Provide safety training and awareness programs to employees and contractors. • Maintain accurate records of all safety-related activities and incidents. • Liaise with government agencies and other relevant bodies to ensure compliance with regulations. • Keep up-to-date with new safety regulations and industry best practices. Requirements: Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry. • Nebosh & SAAS approved. • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is preferred. • In-depth knowledge of local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software. • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
