This role involves inspecting various types of lifting equipment, conducting load tests, identifying defects, and preparing comprehensive inspection reports to maintain operational standards and regulatory compliance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES • Inspect lifting equipment including cranes, forklifts, telehandlers, and accessories such as slings, shackles, hooks, and chain blocks. • Perform load tests and functional tests to validate equipment performance and safety. • Identify defects and non-conformities in lifting equipment and recommend necessary corrective actions. • Prepare detailed inspection reports and certificates to document findings and ensure transparency. • Ensure compliance with LEEA standards and local regulations throughout all inspection processes. • Maintain accurate inspection records and equipment history for tracking and reporting purposes. • Support welding, NDT, and pressure vessel inspections if holding relevant certifications (CSWIP, API 510, ASME AI). Requirements: Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of experience in lifting equipment inspection. • At least 1 LEEA certification is mandatory. • Valid driving license. • Additional certifications (CSWIP, API 510, ASME AI) are a plus and can influence salary. Skills • Strong understanding of lifting equipment standards and regulations. • Ability to perform detailed inspections and load testing efficiently. • Excellent report writing and documentation skills. • Strong analytical skills to identify defects and recommend corrective actions. • Good communication skills for interaction with team members and clients.
