Job description / Role Job Type Full Time Job Location Muscat, Oman Nationality Any Nationality Salary 400 - 550 OMR Gender Male Arabic Fluency Not Specified Job Function Engineering - Mechanical & Aeronautical Company Industry Water, Power & Utilities • Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Plan and execute maintenance schedules for, but not limited to, pumps, blowers, valves, Decanters, Aerators, motors, compressors, and utility services to minimize downtime. • Troubleshooting & Repairs: Investigate mechanical failures or malfunctions in treatment processes and provide immediate, effective solutions. • Project Management: Oversee maintenance and repair of mechanical infrastructure, ensuring completion within budget and on schedule. • Process Optimization: Analyze equipment data and performance metrics to maximize the efficiency of wastewater treatment processes. • Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance work adheres to health, safety, and environmental regulations • Technical Support: Provide technical advice and training to plant operators regarding mechanical systems. • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and spare parts inventory. • Engineering: Knowledge of the selection of equipments (Like Pump, blower etc) • Coordination with the stakeholders, like service providers, suppliers, and the internal team Requirements: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. • Experience: Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, specifically within wastewater treatment min 5 to 8 years • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial equipment (pumps, centrifuges, motors), piping systems, and hydraulic principles. • Software Proficiency: Office Tools, CMMS tool added an advantage. • Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting, communication, site coordination, and management skills. • Driving: GCC or Oman Driving license Salary: OMR 400 to 550 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
