As Head Bartender, you will oversee the full bar operation, ensuring high standards of service, creativity, and consistency. You will play a key role in curating beverage menus, driving revenue, and creating a lively yet refined atmosphere that reflects our luxury brand standards. Key responsibilities: Manage daily bar operations and lead the bar team Design and update cocktail menus, including signature creations Maintain excellent service standards and guest engagement Monitor stock levels, control costs, and manage supplier orders Train and develop bartenders to ensure consistent quality Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and hotel policies Handle guest feedback professionally and proactively Qualifications Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, and international cocktail trends Proven leadership and team management skills Excellent communication skills in English Professional grooming and presentation Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Additional information Your team & working environment: Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa is a 5-star luxury hotel with 262 luxury rooms and suites including 1 royal suite, 6 opera suites, 21 prestige suites, 32 club millesime rooms, 202 luxury rooms, 5 restaurants and 4 bars, 1 grand ballroom, 2 meeting rooms, beach club, kids club and the first Thalassa Spa in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries (GCC).
