Software Migration Specialist – Payments

Description

We are seeking a client-facing Migration Specialist with a background in software migration, onboarding, or payments operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage high-priority tasks in a high-volume setting. You should be comfortable working in repetitive, process-driven environments with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction. Required experience includes 2+ years in software migration, implementation, customer onboarding, customer support, or related roles. You should have experience with CRM systems, database-driven workflows, or financial management software. Prior exposure to PSP-regulated onboarding and banking account knowledge is a plus. A bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred. Key personal attributes include strong collaboration, negotiation, and diplomacy; robust organizational skills; effective escalation discipline; and the ability to work under pressure while delivering consistent, high-quality service. • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and web-based channels throughout the migration journey. • Execute structured migration workflows for assigned clients, following predefined processes and playbooks. • Manage a rolling pipeline of approximately 25–30 migrations concurrently in a high-volume environment. • Serve as the main point of contact for clients during migrations, guiding them through each step and addressing questions or concerns. • Operate within structured migration playbooks, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timely completion. • Identify issues or inconsistencies during migrations and escalate as needed to maintain project integrity. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and on-time delivery. • Provide regular, structured status updates on migration progress, deliverables, and timelines. • Balance multiple concurrent migrations within defined workload expectations and SLA targets. • Support end-to-end migration processes by following predefined workflows and coordinating with internal teams.
