Looking 12 + years of experience Position: Java Solution Architect (Google Cloud Platform) Location:Remote Type: Contract to Hire Must-Have Skills: Java/J2EE, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Microservices, API Architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong Java background and hands-on Google Cloud Platform expertise to lead end-to-end architecture design and guide engineering teams in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and own architecture for Java-based applications on Google Cloud Platform Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions Lead cloud migration & modernization initiatives Define architecture standards, patterns, and best practices Conduct design reviews and risk assessments Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership Required Experience: 7+ years in software engineering (Java/J2EE) 3+ years in Solution Architect / Technical Leadership role Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub) Experience with microservices & event-driven architecture Hands-on with CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Nice to Have: Spring Boot / Spring Cloud / Quarkus Data platforms (BigQuery, Dataflow, Looker) Domain experience in Financial Services / Insurance / Healthcare Multi-cloud or hybrid cloud exposure
