Technical Advisor for Common Approach to Biodiversity

JOB SUMMARY Qualifications/special skillsAn advanced university degree in biodiversity conservation, environmental science, environment policy, environmental management or closely related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.A minimum of 7 years’ experience in biodiversity and environment at the national, regional, or global levels is required Specialized knowledge/skills and understanding of stakeholders in biodiversity and ecosystem management of Armenia are required.Demonstrated experience in undertaking policy analysis and assessments is required Work experience in the United Nations system and/or the Intergovernmental Organizations is an advantage.
