External Communications Specialist Duration: 01/06/2026 - 31/05/2027 Location: Basel, Switzerland About the Role The External Communications Specialist plays a key supporting role in delivering clear, consistent and impactful external communications. This one?year maternity cover position offers the opportunity to contribute to executive communications, strategic projects, and flagship corporate events, while gaining exposure to high-level communications planning and execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, solutions-driven, and comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop clear and engaging content for external audiences, including media materials, website updates, and social media posts

• Ensure message consistency across all external channels by collaborating closely with internal teams

• Partner with design and digital teams to create visual and multimedia content for social media, digital platforms, and events

• Monitor media coverage and support media relations activities

• Manage sensitive communication with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing external events, including the company's Annual General Meeting (AGM) and investor events

• Oversee event logistics (venue coordination, vendor management, guest lists, on-site support)

• Prepare event materials such as briefing documents, presentations, and supporting content

• Support post-event reporting, evaluation, and content capture
