Professional Video Editor for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram + Creative Direction Support

We are looking for a skilled and creative video editor to work closely with our founder, who will be filming content.

This role goes beyond editing — we need someone who can guide content creation, improve storytelling, and help us produce engaging videos for platforms like YouTube and TikTok.

You will play a key role in shaping the overall flow, pacing, and performance of our content.

Scope of Work: Edit videos for:

• YouTube (long-form)
• TikTok / Reels (short-form)
• Add cuts, transitions, subtitles, and basic motion graphics
• Optimize pacing and storytelling for engagement Suggest improvements on:
• Video structure
• Hooks and retention
• Content flow Provide guidance on:
• How to shoot videos (angles, framing, lighting, etc.)
• How to improve delivery and content style -Prepare videos ready for publishing (formatting, aspect ratios, etc.)

Requirements:

• Proven experience editing for YouTube and TikTok
• Strong understanding of content that performs well (retention, hooks, trends)
• Ability to think creatively and give direction, not just execute edits
• Good communication skills (able to guide non-technical person)
• Fast turnaround and attention to detail
