YouTube Video Editor for Construction Content

Overview We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team on a long-term basis. The role focuses on creating high-quality, engaging, and informative YouTube content within the construction and modern housing space. You should be able to transform raw ideas and footage into compelling visual stories that educate and retain viewers.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form YouTube videos (4-5 minutes) with a strong focus on storytelling, pacing, and clarity
• Structure content for high audience retention (hooks, transitions, visual flow, etc.)
• Integrate voiceovers, stock footage, motion graphics, text overlays, and background music
• Enhance videos with clean, modern visuals aligned with an architectural/design-focused brand
• Collaborate on content direction, suggesting improvements to make videos more engaging and informative
• Maintain consistency in style, branding, and tone across all videos
• Deliver projects within agreed timelines

Requirements

• Proven experience editing YouTube content (portfolio required)
• Strong understanding of pacing, retention techniques, and YouTube audience behavior
• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar
• Ability to source and incorporate relevant visuals (stock clips, references, graphics)
• Good sense of design, typography, and minimal aesthetic
• Strong communication and reliability for long-term collaboration

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Experience working with educational or technical content
• Basic understanding of architecture, construction, or design-related topics
• Familiarity with YouTube SEO (thumbnails, titles, retention strategies)
