Hoard Declutter & eBay Aid
Description
Budget: $15 - $25/hr
I’m getting ready to downsize and need steady, on-site help a couple of afternoons or evenings each week. We will start in the living room and other common spaces, working strictly by category—books with books, clothes with clothes, and so on—so every item finds its way into either a “keep,” “donate/recycle,” or “sell” destination.
Your core responsibilities • Sort and organize every pile, shelf, and box by category, then stage items for their next life. • Run my eBay side: photograph, list, monitor, pack, and ship; you’ll receive an agreed-upon percentage of each completed sale. • Champion donations and recycling; I want as little as possible headed for the landfill. • Lift and shift boxes of books, record ISBNs for a book-buying service, and keep simple tracking notes. • When something is worth fixing, use a bit of ingenuity to locate affordable repair shops or up-cycle options.
What will make you perfect for this Strength to handle 40-lb boxes, real patience with repetitive ISBN capture, confidence with the eBay interface, and a personal commitment to eco-friendly disposal. If you already use barcode/ISBN scanning apps or spreadsheet trackers, even better.
Schedule & logistics Two or three afternoons or evenings per week, on site in my home. We’ll review progress at the end of each session so the next visit starts smoothly.
If turning clutter into organized space—while earning from the treasures we uncover—sounds satisfying, let’s talk details and set up a trial session.
