Traffic Management Safety Course Writing
Description
Budget: £18 - £36/hr
I’m building an industry-focused training programme for individuals who want to enter the traffic management industry and l need a talented course writer to bring it to life, it is part of my Competency Schemes projecr. The material must zero in on Safety at Street Works and Road Works (The Red Book), our Statutory Legislation safety. I have a course that was written in 1991 by the Awarding Organisations for the Qualification, it has failed because of HUMAN ERROR, mainly not allowing sufficient time to teach it. I have designed it differently and added functional items that are needed for 2026, everything from current legislation, risk-assessment methodology, surveys, emergency first aid, driving assessments, innovative installation processes, social impact and higher standards of behaviour.
I am very knowledgeable in the FULL content. Have taught the full content to 100+ people and it has very good feed back. I want to professionalise it. I need instructional design and copywriting, shaping the content into a clear, engaging learning journey that supervisors and frontline crews can complete in a self-paced format.
Deliverables • Detailed course outline with learning objectives • Full lesson scripts (≈ 8–10 hours total seat time) • Slide deck content ready for PowerPoint/Google Slides • Knowledge checks: quizzes, scenario questions and a final assessment • Instructor guide with timing cues and activity notes
Acceptance criteria • Content aligns with the latest safety and regulatory frameworks relevant to traffic management • Language is concise, technically accurate and suitable for adult learners • All quizzes include correct answers and explanations • Final files delivered in editable formats (Word/Docs and PPT/Slides)
If you have a background in traffic control, occupational safety, or compliance training, I’d love to see samples of your work and discuss timelines.
