Cartoon Auctioneer iOS App

Budget: $3000 - $5000

I need an iOS-only marketplace app where anyone can put an item up for sale, schedule the exact time they want the auction to begin, and then watch a lively 3D, slightly exaggerated auctioneer run the bids in real time. Sellers must be able to upload photos, write their own descriptions, and set the starting bid price before locking in a slot on the calendar.

During the live session, bidders enter a virtual “room.” Whether three people show up or three hundred, the animated host should keep pace, increment bids, announce the winner, and trigger payment confirmation once the hammer drops. I picture a stylized, cartoon-like 3D character—think fun, friendly, and upbeat rather than hyper-realistic—rendered smoothly on modern iPhones. Audio call-outs (“Going once…”) and playful gestures are a must; full motion-capture quality isn’t.

Core flow I need built: • Seller lists item → chooses date/time → publishes. • Push notification reminds followers before the auction. • Auction room opens, 3D host appears, live bidding begins with real-time price updates. • Winning bid processed through in-app payment; seller and buyer receive receipts in the inbox.

I’m fine with native Swift, SwiftUI, or a robust cross-platform engine such as Unity or Unreal so long as performance on iOS is flawless. The backend can be Firebase, Supabase, or Node/Express with websockets—whatever keeps latency low enough for real-time bids.

Acceptance criteria:

1. Universal iPhone layout (iOS 15+) passes App Store review.
2. Animated host loads in under two seconds on a mid-range device.
3. Bids propagate to all participants in <300 ms round trip during a stress test of 300 concurrent users.
4. Sellers can schedule, edit, and cancel listings; buyers can follow upcoming auctions.
5. Secure Stripe or Apple Pay integration from bid win through settlement.

Source code, 3D model files, and brief technical documentation should be handed over at milestone completion.
