Convert Car Models for Printing
Description
Budget: $10 - $30
I already own detailed 3-D meshes of five cars—a sedan, an SUV, and three sports cars—and I need each one prepared for resin printing. Your job is to turn every model into a watertight, non-manifold, thick-shell file that will print cleanly on an SLA/MSLA machine.
Scope of work • Inspect and repair all geometry so there are no holes, flipped normals, or open edges. • Add an even wall thickness suitable for resin (around 1–2 mm is fine; advise if you recommend otherwise). • Optimize each file so it stays at “moderate” visual detail while keeping polygon count reasonable for slicing. • Deliver each car as print-ready STL (OBJ or 3MF optional) along with a quick viewport screenshot that proves manifold integrity.
Timeline I’d like the first batch of five cars completed as soon as possible. Please let me know how fast you can turn them around.
What to include in your bid • Your price for the initial five models (please break down per model if you wish). • A short note on the software or plug-ins you’ll use (e.g., Meshmixer, ZBrush, Blender, Netfabb). • One sample of a similar part you’ve made watertight for resin printing—either a screenshot or file link.
If this batch goes smoothly, I will have additional vehicles ready for you next. Looking forward to working together!
