I have a completed piece of creative writing—a 6,500-word fantasy short story—that is ready for a final polish. I’m happy with the plot and character arcs; what I need now is a meticulous proofreader to catch typos, inconsistencies, awkward phrasing, and any lingering grammatical or punctuation issues without dulling the voice or rhythm of the narrative.

You will receive the manuscript in Word format. Please use Track Changes so I can see every adjustment, along with a clean copy for easy reading once all edits are accepted. If you prefer additional tools such as Grammarly or ProWritingAid, feel free to run them in the background, but the human eye and ear are what matter most.

Deliverables: • One Word file with Track Changes showing all corrections • One final, clean Word file ready for submission to magazines and contests
