BeatFusion Media — AI Content Video Editor (Freelance Brief)

I’m building a high-output content system under BeatFusion Media focused on AI, storytelling, music, and creator monetisation.

I need an editor who can turn talking-head + AI visuals into cinematic, scroll-stopping videos — not just clean edits, but content that feels engineered for retention.

Project Scope

We’re producing: • Short-form (15–60s) — YouTube Shorts, Reels, TikTok • Mid/Long-form (2–10 min) — AI education, storytelling, creator systems

Content themes: • Creator growth + monetisation • Storytelling, psychology, music-driven content

What You’ll Be Editing

You’ll receive: • Talking-head footage (direct to camera) • AI-generated visuals (Sora / Runway / image sequences)

Your job is to turn this into high-retention, emotionally engaging content

Core Responsibilities

• Cut fast, clean, and intentionally — every second must earn attention • Add subtitles, hooks, and on-screen text that drive retention • Integrate AI visuals + B-roll to avoid static talking shots • Sync cuts to music, pacing, and emotional beats • Add sound effects, zooms, motion — but keep it clean, not chaotic • Maintain a consistent BeatFusion cinematic + social style • Colour grade + audio mix to a professional standard

Creative Style (IMPORTANT)

We are NOT making generic content.

We are making: • Hook-heavy videos (first 1–3 seconds matter most) • Edits that follow Hook → Tension → Payoff • Content that feels like film + social media combined • Music-driven pacing (cuts match rhythm/emotion) • Clean but high-energy — no dead space

If your edits feel like “just trimmed footage,” it’s not the right fit.

Example Editing Direction

Think: • Fast cuts every 1–3 seconds (when needed) • Pattern interrupts (zoom, visual switch, caption change) • AI visuals used to visualise ideas, not distract • Strong ending (loop or payoff for retention)

Deliverables

• Vertical: 1080 × 1920 (Shorts) • Horizontal (if long-form): 1920 × 1080 • MP4 (H.264) exports • Project files (for scaling/editing later)

Requirements

• Experience with short-form content (YouTube Shorts / TikTok) • Strong sense of pacing, hooks, and retention editing • Comfortable using AI visuals + modern editing styles • Fast turnaround (24–72 hours depending on batch size)

Preferred tools: • Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut / CapCut / DaVinci Resolve

Success = This

If someone watches: • They don’t scroll • They feel something (curiosity, emotion, energy)
