Casual Tutorial Video Editing
Description
I’m building a series of how-to videos and need an editor who can shape raw screen-captures and talking-head footage into short, casual, engaging tutorials. Each clip should feel friendly and approachable rather than corporate.
Here’s what I expect on every edit: • Clean trims and pacing that keep the viewer moving without rushed cuts • Dynamic text overlays and on-screen annotations that highlight key steps and tips • Smooth, tasteful transitions and light effects to maintain flow without distracting from the lesson
Keep the tone upbeat—think quick pop-ups, color accents, and subtle motion graphics that guide attention. Background music isn’t a must for this batch; if you feel a track would add value we can discuss it, but the focus is clarity of instruction.
Deliver each finished video in 1080p MP4 along with the editable project file (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve all acceptable). Consistency across clips is important, so once we lock a style the rest should follow the same look and pacing.
If you thrive on making learning content lively while letting the teaching shine, I’m ready to send over the first set of files right away. Rate: GBP 18–36/hr Skills: Video Services, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Motion Graphics, Video Production, Video Editing, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve
