Lao Native Speakers Needed for Audio Recording

We are hiring native Lao speakers for an audio data collection project.

We are specifically looking for participants with a balanced distribution of accents from Northern, Central, and Southern Laos.

This is a task-based recording project where participants will read and record short Lao sentences using a dedicated platform. The focus is on clarity, accuracy, and natural speech delivery.

Responsibilities

Record Lao sentences exactly as shown on the platform Maintain clear pronunciation and natural speaking pace Ensure recordings are done in a quiet environment Follow recording guidelines (timing, pauses, clarity) Review and submit recordings after verification

Task Details

Work is assigned in batches (e.g., 125 sentences per batch) 125 tasks are issued per batch by default and remain valid for approximately 15 minutes Each batch is considered the minimum settlement unit for payment Each sentence requires a short audio recording Recording platform access will be provided to selected participants Platform supports both mobile and desktop Payment $10 per valid hour of approved audio Only recordings that meet quality standards will be counted Participants must complete a minimum of 3 valid hours to qualify for payment Maximum payable work is up to 10 valid hours per participant

Requirements Native Lao speaker Must clearly indicate your accent region (Northern / Central / Southern Laos) Clear and consistent pronunciation Access to a quiet recording environment Stable internet connection Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines

Ideal Candidate Experience in voice recording or data collection is a plus Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions carefully Comfortable working with repetitive tasks
