Mizo Lecture Transcription Needed
Description
Budget: ₹100 - ₹400/hr
I have a set of lecture recordings in the Mizo language that now need precise, word-for-word transcription. Because the material is delivered in natural, fast-paced classroom speech, I can only work with freelancers who are truly native to Mizoram and fully comfortable with local nuances, idioms, and academic terminology.
Here is what the job entails: • You will listen to each lecture recording and capture every spoken word accurately, including brief pauses or audience reactions whenever they clarify meaning. • I would like the completed work returned to me as an audio file of the read-back transcript—essentially, you record yourself reading the text you transcribed. That way I can drop it directly into my editing workflow without further conversion. • Clean, consistent pronunciation is essential, but no post-production or sound design is required; a clear voice recorded on a quiet mic is enough.
I will supply:
- The source lecture recordings (MP3)
- A simple style sheet covering timestamp placement and speaker tags
You will deliver:
- A plain Mizo text transcript (UTF-8) for reference
- A single audio track of you voicing that transcript, matching the original timing as closely as practical
If you are a native Mizo speaker, have solid transcription experience, and can deliver within a reasonable turnaround, please let me know your typical speed per lecture hour and any recent similar projects. I look forward to collaborating!
