Shopify Payment Plugin Integration

I already have four live REST endpoints—Create Order, Check Status, Refund, and Refund Status—covering both UPI and card flows. I now need a production-ready Shopify payment plugin that wires these APIs into Shopify’s Payments API so customers can pay with either method at checkout and merchants can trigger automatic refunds straight from their admin panel.

Here is what I expect:

• A Shopify payment app (public or custom) that calls Create Order when the shopper selects my gateway, redirects or presents the correct UPI or card interface, and continuously polls or listens for Check Status until payment is confirmed or fails. • Built-in refund logic: when a merchant clicks “Refund” in Shopify, the plugin must hit my Refund endpoint, then track the result with Refund Status and push the outcome back to Shopify automatically. • Clear, well-commented source code plus basic instructions for installation, environment variables, and API key management so my in-house devs can maintain it. • End-to-end testing on a development store proving a successful charge (UPI and card) and a full or partial refund.

Familiarity with Shopify’s Payments/Hosted SDKs, webhooks, and PCI/UPI compliance best practices will help you move fast. If you have built custom payment apps or gateways before, especially those handling both card and UPI rails, please mention it when you reach out.
