Shopify Developer (Concept Theme) – Store Finalization, Custom Coding & Performance

Budget: $2 - $8/hr

We are building a high‑performance Shopify store using the Concept theme and need an experienced Shopify developer to help finalize and optimize it.

A large part of the store is already implemented. The scope now is to review, refine, and complete the store with a strong focus on clean implementation, performance, and long‑term maintainability.

Key responsibilities:

Review the existing Concept theme setup and current implementation.

Finalize layouts for homepage, product pages, collections, and landing pages.

Implement custom sections/blocks where needed using Liquid, CSS, and JavaScript.

Fix bugs, layout issues, and inconsistencies across desktop and mobile.

Optimize store performance (page speed, assets, apps usage, theme code).

Ensure everything remains editable via the Shopify customizer (no messy hardcoding).

Integrate and configure necessary Shopify apps only where truly needed.

Skills required:

Shopify theme development (Concept theme experience is a plus).

Strong Liquid, CSS, and JavaScript.

Experience with Shopify Templates, Shopify Apps, and performance optimization for ecommerce stores.

Experience working on partially built Shopify stores and taking them to a clean, stable final version.

Project details:

Project type: Standard Hourly project on Freelancer (no addons).

Hourly budget: 2–8 USD/hr (proposals outside this range will not be considered).

Estimated duration: Less than 30 hrs/week for 1–3 months, depending on fit and speed.

What to include in your proposal:

2–3 of your best Shopify stores (ideally high‑performance or custom theme work).

Briefly explain your approach to:

Cleaning up an existing theme.

Improving performance on Shopify.

Confirm your availability per week and your time zone.

Important:

Do NOT apply if your expertise is primarily in blockchain/crypto or if you only work with headless/experimental stacks. This project is a standard Shopify theme and performance optimization assignment.

Only serious, detail‑oriented Shopify developers with real store experience will be considered.
