I’ve decided on Shopify for my new online store and need a developer who can take it from a blank canvas to a live, fully functional shop. The scope covers everything a first-time merchant requires: selecting or customizing a conversion-focused theme, building out the core pages (home, product, cart, checkout, legal), configuring secure payment gateways and shipping rules, and making sure the whole experience is fast and mobile-friendly.

Because I’m new to the platform, clear hand-over notes and a quick walk-through of day-to-day tasks—adding products, managing stock, running discounts—are just as important to me as the initial build. If you already have a portfolio of Shopify stores, especially ones with clean design and solid UX, please include a couple of live links and specify the parts you handled.

Deliverables I’d like to see: • Branded, responsive Shopify theme installed or customized • Core e-commerce pages built and linked • Payment, tax, and shipping settings tested and ready • Short guide or loom/video showing me how to update products and content
