Ka-Band Audio Down-Conversion

I have a collection of recorded Ka-band satellite captures stored in a proprietary “K” format. Each file contains the raw RF payload—audio plus embedded data—that now needs to be down-converted into a clean, usable Ka satellite radio signal for further processing on my end.

Your task XXXX XXXX take these recorded files, perform the necessary RF and baseband processing, and deliver the resulting stream in the same Ka satellite radio signal specification that the live system expects. A deep understanding of Ka-band characteristics, audio demodulation, and digital signal processing is therefore essential.

I will supply several sample files so you can prove the workflow. Once confirmed, you’ll process the remaining archive, document the exact toolchain you used (GNU Radio, MATLAB, custom Python scripts, or any other utilities you find appropriate), and provide the converted outputs ready for immediate integration.
