KiCad BQ25570 BMS Schematic
Description
Budget: $250 - $750
I need a complete KiCad schematic that shows how the BQ25570 energy-harvesting charger and the BQ34Z100-R2 fuel-gauge work together to manage a single-cell 3.7 V, 9000 mAh Li-ion pack connected through a simple two-pin connector. The design must cover both charging and monitoring functions using each device’s default configuration registers, so no exotic component values or OTP programming are required—just wire the recommended circuits exactly as shown in the latest Texas Instruments data sheets.
Please integrate basic protection circuitry (input over-voltage, reverse polarity, battery short-circuit and pack over-discharge) and include an I²C communication interface to the BQ34Z100-R2 on standard test pads so the host MCU can poll state-of-charge and health data. Keep the layout friendly for a future four-layer board and clearly label all jumpers, headers and sense lines.
Deliverables must include: • Native KiCad 7 schematic file (.kicad_sch) with hierarchical sheets if helpful • A concise, editable BOM linked to manufacturer part numbers
I will validate the work by opening it directly in KiCad, cross-checking pin mappings against the TI reference designs, and simulating the netlist for errors, so please make sure all symbols, footprints and electrical rules pass without warnings.
