Smooth Documentary Vlog Editing

Deadline: 2026-04-01

Description

Budget: £18 - £36/hr

I have a backlog of casual travel clips that I want turned into short, documentary-style vlogs. Each video will run roughly 3-5 minutes once edited. What I need from you is a clean narrative flow built around smooth transitions and concise text overlays that identify places, dates, or little facts from the trip.

Keep the pacing relaxed and story-focused—think light travel documentary rather than a hyper-cut montage. I already have the raw footage in 1080p; you can work in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or any editor you’re comfortable with, as long as the final export is H.264 MP4 at full HD.

Smooth transitions are a must. If you have your own signature dissolves or match-cut tricks that still feel natural, show me. For text, use legible fonts, lower-thirds, and subtle pop-ups; no flashy kinetic typography needed. I don’t require background music right now, but if you spot a royalty-free track that enhances the story, let me know and we can add it.

Deliverables per episode: • 1 fully edited video (3-5 min, 1080p) • The editable project file and any custom assets used

I’m happy to start with a single episode, review the style, and then move on to the remaining footage as a small series. If you’re a creative beginner eager to practice documentary pacing, this should be a straightforward, fun project. Let’s make these travels watchable together.
