Research Journal Publishing VA Needed
Description
I have several Science and Technology papers ready for submission and I need a sharp, organised Virtual Assistant to make the publishing side run smoothly. Your main mission will be to locate reputable yet affordable journals or third-party services that can handle publication support at roughly $50–$60 per paper; once options are shortlisted, you will open the dialogue, negotiate terms, and keep everything on schedule until the manuscript is accepted.
The core focus is finding journals that are a good thematic and indexing fit (think Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ, etc.) while respecting my cost ceiling. Strong communication will be essential for drafting inquiry emails, clarifying author guidelines, and following up without letting deadlines slip. Prior experience with academic publishing will make the process faster, but proactive problem-solving and clear updates matter most.
Key qualities I’m looking for
Deliverables for each paper
- A short list of 3–5 candidate journals or service providers that fit scope, turnaround, and budget.
- A summary table (Google Sheet or Excel) with fees, indexing status, and initial editor response.
- Email/Chat transcripts or notes from negotiations.
- A dated timeline showing next steps through to final submission.
This is an ongoing collaboration—when the first paper flows smoothly, the rest will follow. If you’re confident you can secure quality outlets within the stated budget and keep the process transparent, tell me about similar work you’ve done and your availability to start this week.
