Full-Time E-Commerce Web Manager

Project-Based

Description

I run 28 separate e-commerce sites and need one dedicated developer who can give them full-time, day-to-day attention. My overriding objective is to grow organic traffic, so every task XXXX XXXX—whether it’s refining page speed, tightening technical SEO, rolling out new product pages, or improving mobile responsiveness—should ultimately serve that goal.

You’ll be on the sites each weekday, tackling a steady stream of updates: code fixes, theme tweaks, app or plugin integrations, and split-testing ideas that help us rank better and convert faster. Because organic search (SEO) is our current focus, I expect competent on-page optimisation, schema implementation, internal-link restructuring, and a solid grasp of Core Web Vitals.

All stores share a similar stack, so fluency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP (or a comparable back-end language), and modern SEO tools such as Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs is important. If you’re comfortable deploying to live servers without downtime and rolling back quickly when needed, you’ll fit right in.

I measure success weekly against traffic lifts, crawl-error reductions, and page-speed benchmarks. Please outline your full-time availability, your approach to scaling improvements across multiple domains, and one example of an SEO-driven code change you implemented that moved the needle.
