Description

I maintain a set of Google Sheets that track duty assignments and need them to feel more like a lightweight application than a spreadsheet. I want an Apps Script that runs across multiple tabs, produces dynamic, easy-to-read summaries, and keeps all calculations in sync the moment anyone edits a cell—whether on a desktop or in the mobile app.

The core of the job is automation of conditional summation. I would like these numbers to recalculate automatically via triggers, and I’m open to a custom menu or side panel if that makes the workflow clearer for my team.

Because the file is shared company-wide, the script must: • keep performance snappy even on mobile connections

Deliverables • The complete, well-commented Apps Script attached to the spreadsheet • A short, plain-language guide so colleagues know how the automation works and how to extend it later
