2D Vector Illustrator Needed — Conceptual Diagram Series (5–6 Images, SVG)
Description
I am looking for a skilled 2D vector illustrator to update and modernize a series of 5–6 conceptual diagrams for an educational/professional training context. The subject matter involves psychological trauma and identity, using a fabric and weaving metaphor — identity is depicted as a woven textile, and trauma is shown as a tear, hole, or disruption within that fabric. What you'll be recreating: The existing illustrations are outdated (originally created as presentation slides from the early digital era). I will provide you with the original images. Your job is to reimagine them as clean, modern, professional 2D vector illustrations while preserving the core visual concept. Style reference: Two of the images are hand-drawn black-and-white cross-hatch/woven grid illustrations that I love — one shows an intact woven fabric, and another shows the same fabric with a hole torn through it labeled "Loss." The updated series should feel cohesive with this style: clean, structured, and conceptually expressive — not cartoon, not whimsical. Think modern editorial or infographic illustration. Project scope:
5–6 illustrations total (one frame contains two related images side by side) All illustrations follow a consistent visual language Delivered as SVG files Text/labels must be cleanly integrated into each illustration
Ideal candidate:
Experience with conceptual or infographic illustration Strong typographic sensibility Ability to interpret abstract concepts visually Portfolio showing clean, modern 2D vector work
Budget: $50 for the full set Please include relevant portfolio samples with your bid, especially any work involving diagrams, conceptual art, or educational illustration. Budget: USD 10–30 Skills: Graphic Design, Animation, Illustration, Sketching, 2D Animation, SVG, 2D Animation Explainer Video
