60-Second Dark Anime Trailer
Description
Budget: $250 - $750
I’m producing a 60-second 2D anime trailer that will serve primarily as a promotional piece for an upcoming project. The mood has to feel unmistakably dark and mysterious, with lighting, color palette, pacing, and sound design all reinforcing that atmosphere from the opening frame to the final sting.
Here’s the flow I have in mind: we open on an unsettling ambience, quickly establish tension, then climb toward a cliff-hanger that leaves viewers wanting more. I’ll share the core story beats, character sheets, and rough dialogue once we start, but I’m looking for you to shape those assets into a polished trailer—complete with dynamic cuts, impactful typography for any on-screen text, and a sound bed (music and basic SFX) that deepens the suspense.
My ideal workflow is: • First pass storyboard and style frames for approval • Final animation in 1080p (or higher), fully composited, color-graded, and mastered with final audio
Please let me know which 2D animation tools you prefer (Toon Boom Harmony, After Effects, TVPaint, etc.) and share a link to at least one piece that shows you can nail a brooding, cinematic tone. Once we agree on milestones, I’m ready to move fast so we can start building buzz.
