Chen-Style ER Diagram Development

Project-Based

Description

I need a Chen-style ER diagram for a Database Management Systems project (Movie Database System).

The diagram should include the following entities: User, Content, Movie, Series, Episode, Review, Category, UserGroup, and AccessLevel.

Requirements:

  • Use proper Chen notation (rectangles for entities, ovals for attributes, diamonds for relationships, triangle for ISA).
  • Content must be generalized into Movie, Series, and Episode using ISA.
  • Series should have a relationship with Episode (one-to-many).
  • Include a review system: User writes Review, and Review is linked to Content.
  • Content should be categorized using Category (many-to-many).
  • Implement access control:
  • Users belong to UserGroups.
  • UserGroups have AccessLevels.
  • Content requires an AccessLevel.
  • AccessLevels can be nested (recursive relationship).
  • UserGroups can also have recursive relationships (group hierarchy).

The diagram must be clean, properly labeled with cardinalities (1:N, M:N), and follow academic ER modeling standards.

Deliverable: A neat, well-structured ER diagram (hand-drawn style or digital) suitable for academic submission. Budget: INR 600–1500 Skills: SQL, Database Administration, Database Development, Data Visualization, Data Architecture, Database Design, Database Management, Data Modeling
