Merge Two Jira Dashboards
Description
I have two separate Atlassian Jira dashboards that each show part of our picture, and I’d like them combined into one clear, maintainable view focused on issue tracking only. The new dashboard must surface Bugs, Tasks and User Stories together, and every gadget or filter should break those items down by assignee so the team can instantly see individual workloads.
You’ll need to: • Analyse the existing dashboards and the filters behind them. • Propose the best way to consolidate gadgets or recreate them where necessary so we lose no information. • Build the merged dashboard, wiring up JQL, swim-lanes or pie charts—whatever fits—so the final result is readable at a glance. • Walk me through your setup so I can tweak it later (permissions, share settings, filter ownership, etc.).
Acceptance criteria • Single dashboard lives in our Jira instance, fully shared with the project team. • All Bugs, Tasks and User Stories appear, grouped by assignee. • No duplicate or orphaned filters remain from the old dashboards. • Brief hand-off call or document explaining how to adjust gadgets and JQL.
