STP & Water Structure Estimates

I’m finalising both a sewage-treatment plant and several water-retaining structures and now need a senior civil engineer with solid quantity-surveying experience to firm up the numbers. Your main tasks will be to:

• Extract accurate quantity take-offs directly from the architectural and structural drawings I will share (DWG/PDF). • Build a clear, itemised BOQ in MS Excel, complete with current market rates for materials, labour and equipment. • Produce a bar-bending schedule; a BBS template is available if that speeds things up.

You’ll have everything you need to start: the latest drawings, past BOQs for comparison and full material specifications. Please use AutoCAD for measurement checks and keep all calculations transparent in Excel so that each figure can be traced back to its source. A minimum of five years’ hands-on experience with STP or similar water-retaining projects is essential because I expect you to spot design discrepancies, flag missing items and advise if any rate or quantity feels unrealistic.

Deliverables will be reviewed against the drawings for completeness, arithmetical accuracy and logical build-ups of rates. Once approved, they will feed straight into procurement, so precision and clarity are a must.
