I run a roofing company that is expanding our commercial reach throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. To keep pace with incoming leads, I need a results-driven sales professional who can pick up the phone, speak the language of business owners and facilities managers, and guide them all the way from first conversation to signed contract.
What you’ll do • Work from my vetted list of businesses in the region, place outbound calls, qualify their roofing needs, and book on-site or virtual assessments. • Confidently present our full line of roofing materials and services, answering technical questions and overcoming objections with genuine product knowledge. • Follow up promptly, draft or relay proposals, and close deals—your quota and commission plan will be laid out clearly before we start. • Maintain concise CRM notes so I can see pipeline health at a glance.
Why you’ll succeed here • You already know (or are eager to master) the basics of TPO, EPDM, and asphalt shingle systems, so conversations feel consultative, not scripted. • Your track record shows you can turn cold or lukewarm B2B leads into long-term clients through persuasive phone work and in-person meetings when needed. • You’re comfortable focusing on Rhode Island and Massachusetts markets, understanding seasonal timing, local codes, and the competitive landscape.
Deliverables & acceptance
- Daily call log with outcomes.
- Weekly pipeline report listing prospects by stage.
- Minimum of two qualified estimates issued per week during the first month—ramping targets follow.
