Chief Finance Officer (CFO)

Kavod Real Estate PLC Kavod Real Estates PLC is seeking a visionary Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to lead the entire Finance Center of Excellence. The CFO will be responsible for defining and executing the financial strategy of the enterprise, overseeing budgeting and forecasting of annual project cash flows, ensuring full regulatory compliance, and providing strategic financial leadership to the Board and executive management. This is a critical executive role that will shape the financial architecture and sustainability of one of Ethiopia’s most ambitious real estate development programs. Core Duties and Responsibilities Lead the overall financial strategy, oversight, investor reporting, and capital governance for the organization. Define and implement the financial strategy and optimal capital structure to support the enterprise pipeline. Oversee company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and management of annual project cash flows. Ensure full compliance with Ethiopian Revenue and Customs Authority (ERCA) requirements and drive tax optimization strategies. Lead funding initiatives, investment analysis, and capital raising activities. Represent the Finance function at Board meetings, Audit Committee, and all regulatory engagements. Provide strategic financial leadership to the Heads of Financial Control & Operations and FP&A & Business Analysis. Build and strengthen the Finance Center of Excellence to support scalable growth and operational excellence.
