Senior Accountant

Position Title : Senior Accountant Organization : Heal Africa Health City S.C. Duty Station: Heal Africa Health City Compound, Torhayloch Reports To: Finance Manager / Chief Finance Officer Job Summary The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy of financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial planning. The role requires a highly trustworthy, loyal, and ethical professional who can safeguard organizational resources and maintain confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports. Supervise daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable. Ensure compliance with financial policies, tax regulations, and internal controls. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Monitor budgets and expenditures and provide variance analysis. Coordinate external audits and respond to audit findings. Support financial planning and decision-making processes. Maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate loyalty to the organization. Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff.
