ROLE SUMMARY  The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle and stability of the organization's technical environment. Their primary goal is to ensure that computing platforms, servers, and networks are secure, highly available, and high-performing. Key Responsibilities   1. Hardware Design & Engineering Circuit Development: Deg sophisticated board-level solutions, including analog and digital circuit design. Technical Planning: Managing schematic design, component selection, and PCB (Printed Circuit Board) floor planning.   2. End-to-End Product Lifecycle Prototyping & Testing: Hands-on involvement in prototyping, hardware bring-up, debugging, and rigorous verification/validation testing. Manufacturing Transition: Providing technical support during the manufacturing start-up phase to ensure a smooth transition from design to production.   3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Innovation Integrated Design: Working closely with mechanical engineers, software teams, and industrial designers to ensure all product components (hardware, software, and casing) work together seamlessly. Market Differentiation: Collaborating with inventors and product managers to develop innovative lighting solutions that stand out against competitors in the market.  4. Conceptual Research Requirement Analysis: Performing feasibility and conceptual studies based on requirement specifications to define the foundation of new products.   5. Strategic Consultation and Planning Stakeholder Engagement: Consulting with IT staff, providers, and cross-functional teams to evaluate requirements and recommend infrastructure designs. Cost-Benefit Analysis: Performing technical research and financial analysis (feasibility, cost, and time) for infrastructure upgrades and new technology initiatives. Vendor Selection: Driving the evaluation and selection of technology, Intellectual Property (IP), and external vendors.   6. Design, Development, and R&D System Architecture: Defining hardware project ideas and architectures for technical implementation, specifically for data centers and software design. Product Development: Deg and developing hardware and embedded software, particularly for switchgear electronics and display/touch components. Prototyping: Overseeing the deployment of prototypes in lab environments and developing interfacing software to support internal teams.   7. Lifecycle and Project Management End-to-End Ownership: Leading products through their entire lifecycle—from road mapping and conceptual design to mass production and service introduction. Manufacturing and Quality: Collaborating with teams to ensure products meet targets for functionality, manufacturability, safety, and cost. Sourcing: Identifying opportunities to leverage strategic sourcing and common technology initiatives across product lines.   8. Technical Support and Problem Resolution Advanced Troubleshooting: Serving as a technical specialist during emergencies to resolve complex network and infrastructure problems. Emergency Availability: Participating in an on-call rotation and remaining available 24/7 for critical system failures. System Stability: Ensuring all telecommunications and hardware infrastructure remains secure, stable, and efficient to meet business goals.  9. Documentation and Process Excellence Technical Standards: Ensuring all work aligns with corporate directives, standards, and industry "best processes." Knowledge Management: Generating detailed network documentation, lab test results, and resolution reports for future reference. Compliance: Managing engineering documents in electronic vaults and maintaining rigorous requirements analysis and design reviews.   10. Solution Design and Strategic Planning Requirement Gathering: Analyzing business needs to design and propose technical solutions that align with company strategies and best practices. Road mapping: Developing technology standards and "future state" roadmaps to improve scalability, performance, and capabilities. Investment & Analysis: Proposing new technology investments supported by technical analysis, proofs of concept (PoCs), and formal business cases.   11. Systems Operations and Lifecycle Management Installation & Stabilization: Installing, maintaining, and stabilizing system hardware and software to ensure peak performance. Change Management: Planning and implementing infrastructure changes (from request to deployment) for both test and live environments, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget. Managed File Transfer (MFT): Specifically deg, implementing, and operating Enterprise managed file transfer environments.  12. Monitoring, Maintenance, and Performance Health Checks: Performing routine daily, weekly, and monthly health checks (monitoring CPU, Memory, Disk Space, and Connectivity) for servers, networks, and workstations. Performance Optimization: Reviewing system and network performance results to develop standards and workflows that ensure consistent technical quality. Asset Compliance: Ensuring all hardware, software, and procedural assets meet quality, industry, and regulatory requirements.   13. Incident Response and Technical Support Problem Resolution: Serving as a mid-tier escalation point to diagnose and resolve client issues. Global Coordination: Coordinating with external or corporate groups (such as Worldwide Services) to resolve complex internet, DNS, and DHCP issues. roactive Mitigation: Monitoring event logs and acting proactively to escalate potential issues before they cause downtime.   14. Standards, Governance, and Mentorship Standardization: Creating and documenting technical procedures and workflows to ensure uniformity across the department. Technical Guidance: Providing training, direction, and peer reviews for colleagues to ensure all architectural work aligns with company goals. Consulting: Serving as a technical advisor to project teams, assessing the impact and interdependencies of new solutions. Required number of manpower  01
