Pre-Operative Responsibilities Assess patients prior to surgery (history taking, physical examination). Review laboratory and diagnostic results. Ensure informed consent is properly obtained. Prepare patients medically for surgical procedures. Coordinate with anesthetists, nurses, and surgeons. 2. Intra-Operative Responsibilities Assist surgeons during surgical procedures. Maintain sterile techniques and OR protocols. Monitor patient condition during surgery. Provide immediate medical support in case of complications. 3. Post-Operative Care Monitor patients in recovery. Manage post-operative complications. Prescribe medications and follow-up care. Document surgical notes and patient progress. 4. Clinical & Administrative Duties Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Participate in ward rounds and case discussions. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
