JOB SUMMARY Incoming Material Inspector is responsible for inspecting, verifying, and reporting of all incoming raw materials & packaging materials to ensure they meet company specifications and food safety requirements before use in production. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operational Inspect incoming raw materials (crude oil, chemicals) and packaging materials (bottles, caps, labels, cartons etc..). Inspect and verify that all incoming raw and packaging materials comply with approved specifications and food safety requirements. Perform sampling according to approved procedures Perform required physical, chemical, and visual tests according to specifications. Maintain accurate inspection records to ensure full traceability of materials. Ensure proper labeling, storage conditions, and traceability of accepted materials. Check batch numbers, manufacturing dates, expiry dates, and labeling details of the incoming material Monitor hygiene and safety practices during material unloading. Support internal and external audits related to incoming material control Performs other duties as assigned/ordered  Product Quality Quality Measurements in Packaging  Ensure cleaning and sanitation Assist in Reducing of non-conforming product Cost management Customer complaints Scrap & rework Material inspection & Product acceptance Manufacturing Excellence, system implementation towards world class manufacturing. Driving 5S & Driving EHS` Asset care & Focused improvement Teamwork      Food safety management System (FSMS) Comply with ISO 22000:2018, HACCP principles, PRPs, and GMP requirements. Identify potential food safety hazards associated with incoming materials. Prevent contamination during unloading and sampling. Control non-conforming materials and initiate corrective action where required. Participate in internal and external audits. Contribute to continual improvement of the FSMS.      Environmental Management System (EMS) & Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)  Prevent environmental contamination (e.g., oil spills during unloading). Ensure proper disposal of waste, samples, and chemicals. Report environmental incidents immediately. Follow ISO 14001 environmental & ISO 45001 procedures. Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Ensure safe unloading and sampling practices. Report unsafe conditions and incidents. Participate in safety training and risk assessment activities.
