This role aims to ensure compliance with data laws, reduce risks, and enhance the overall efficiency of data operations.Main Responsibilities:Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on data laws and internal policies, collaborating with Data Protection Officers and Risk Stewards.Support Businesses to ensure alignment with Non-Financial Risk Framework.Work from Europe region to ensure compliance with global data regulations.Identify and mitigate data risks, track action progress, and provide visibility to the Data & Analytics team.Support the development and delivery of data controls, ensuring accurate documentation.Provide training and develop educational materials for the Europe region to enhance awareness of data laws.Identify areas for improvement in managing data locally and regionally.Key Requirements:Analytical thinking with attention to detail.Strong people skills to engage with various stakeholders effectively.Experience in data and knowledge of European data protection laws, including.Ability to identify and mitigate risks.Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.Proficient communication skills to articulate complex issues clearly.Nice to Have:Experience in an international bank or financial institution.Experience working with global and diverse teams.Strong commercial mindset to drive innovation in collaboration with IT.Knowledge of Non-financial Risk Framework and related policies.Other Details:Contract: 15 monthsLocation: Europe regionTeam: Group Data & Sharing Team and CIB Data & Analytics Team
