With over $750 million in AUM and a portfolio of 40 centers, you will have the opportunity to help grow and scale the Finance team, work directly with the CFO and CEO, while preparing and analyzing financial statements in accordance with GAAP. With over $750 million in AUM and a portfolio of 40 centers, you will have the opportunity to help grow and scale the Finance team, work directly with the CFO and CEO, while preparing and analyzing financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Fund Accountant to oversee all aspects of financial management and reporting. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial operations, compliance, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with leadership skills to guide our finance team and support executive decision-making. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and lead the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes. • Develop and maintain robust internal controls and compliance frameworks. • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP. • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes. • Partner with senior leadership on strategic financial initiatives. • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation strongly preferred. • Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles. • Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. • Understanding of the Real Estate industry, with a preference within Retail Real Estate. • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
