PHP Backend Developer (Magento 2)

📍 Czech Republic / Hybrid (EU) (Once per month you need to be in Prague) 💼 Full-time / B2B

We are looking for an experienced PHP Backend Developer to join our Checkout team and work on a modern e-commerce platform.

If you enjoy building scalable solutions, working with Magento 2, and being part of an international environment — this role could be a great fit.

🔧 Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend functionality for an e-commerce platform Implement new features within the Magento 2 ecosystem Collaborate with an international team on complex e-commerce solutions Ensure high code quality, structure, and maintainability Contribute to improving processes, automation, and performance Stay up-to-date with modern development practices and technologies

⚙️ Requirements 2+ years of experience with Magento 2 (mandatory) Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL Understanding of backend development best practices Good level of English (daily communication & documentation) Ability to work independently and proactively Experience working in a remote team environment

➕ Nice to have Experience with GraphQL Familiarity with Xdebug and PHPStorm Experience with Git and version control Understanding of Scrum / Agile workflows Experience with Docker, Kubernetes Knowledge of Golang / microservices architecture
