Job Description Must have: Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform, including services such as ECS (Fargate), Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, OpenSearch, VPC networking, and AWS Security Hub Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including deg reusable modules and managing multi-environment, multi-region infrastructure Strong experience deg and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) Strong scripting and automation skills using Python / PowerShell / Bash Experience implementing automation-driven infrastructure and deployment processes Experience implementing GitOps or automated infrastructure lifecycle management Strong knowledge of Git workflows and collaborative development practices Experience implementing security and compliance controls in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines Ability to design secure, scalable cloud infrastructure platforms with security embedded by default Nice to have: Experience with Datadog monitoring and observability platform Experience working with multi-account AWS environments Knowledge of Linux and Windows environments Experience integrating cloud security tooling (Orca Security or similar) Experience deg cloud governance frameworks, guardrails, and security policies Experience deg infrastructure governance and guardrails AWS or Terraform certifications Job Responsibilities Platform Engineering Design and develop automation frameworks for provisioning, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules and shared infrastructure components Ensure infrastructure modules and automation frameworks include security controls, secure defaults, and compliance guardrails Develop, improve and standardize CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation across services and environments Develop self-service infrastructure capabilities that allow engineering teams to provision environments and services through automation Identify and eliminate manual operational processes through automation and platform capabilities Technical Leadership Provide technical guidance and mentorship to DevOps engineers within the team Lead technical discussions and architectural decisions related to cloud infrastructure and automation Promote engineering best practices for infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, GitOps workflows, and secure development practices Lead initiatives to evolve the team toward automation-first and platform engineering practices Developer Enablement Work closely with development teams to improve deployment workflows and development lifecycle efficiency Enable teams through automation, tooling, and self-service infrastructure capabilities Platform Reliability & Observability Improve platform monitoring, observability, and operational visibility using tools such as Datadog Ensure security and reliability best practices are integrated into infrastructure and deployment automation Department/Project Description GL Healthcare Division Program is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join the Reliability Engineering team responsible for the mission-critical medical data processing systems infrastructure development and operation.
