SAP PCS (Production Control & Execution) Sr. Functional Consultant

Role: SAP PCS (Production Control & Execution) Sr. Functional Consultant Location: Remote Experience: 12+ Years Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced SAP PCS (Production Control & Execution) Senior Functional Consultant with deep expertise in manufacturing and shop floor processes. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SAP PP, PP-PI, ME/MII, and S/4HANA Manufacturing, with the ability to design and implement end-to-end production execution solutions integrated with supply chain and plant operations. Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, and implement Production Control & Execution (PCS) solutions in SAP. Work on Production Planning (PP), Production Execution, and Shop Floor Control processes. Configure and support Production Orders, Process Orders, Work Centers, Routings, and BOMs. Integrate SAP with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SAP ME/MII. Gather business requirements and convert them into functional specifications (FSDs). Support end-to-end implementation lifecycle including requirement gathering, design, testing (SIT/UAT), and go-live. Collaborate with plant managers, production teams, and IT stakeholders. Monitor and optimize production execution, scheduling, and order processing. Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support and enhancements. Ensure seamless integration with MM, SD, WM/EWM, and Quality Management (QM) modules. Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience in: SAP PP (Production Planning & Execution) SAP PP-PI (Process Industries) SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing / Production Execution Experience with Production Orders, Process Orders, Shop Floor Control Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production lifecycle Experience in MRP, Capacity Planning, and Scheduling Knowledge of BOM, Routing, Work Centers, and Production Versions Integration knowledge with MM, SD, QM, WM/EWM Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills: Experience with SAP ME (Manufacturing Execution) / SAP MII Knowledge of Industry 4.0, IoT integration in manufacturing Experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) Basic ABAP/debugging knowledge Exposure to SAP Fiori apps for manufacturing Familiarity with Agile methodologies Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience in industries like Automotive, Pharma, FMCG, Manufacturing Knowledge of batch management and serial number tracking Experience with shop floor automation and real-time data capture Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts
