Job Position: - Atlassian Consultant / Jira Consultant Job Location: - McLean VA (100% Onsite) Job Type: - Contract Job Description: - We are looking for an Atlassian Migration Specialist with strong experience migrating Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Jira Service Management from Server/Data Centre environments to Atlassian Cloud. The role involves planning and executing end-to-end migrations, managing app/plug-in transitions, optimizing cloud setups, and ensuring data integrity and security throughout the process. The specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess existing environments, address customizations, conduct test migrations, troubleshoot issues, and provide post-migration support. Experience integrating Atlassian Cloud with identity and access management solutions, including SSO and user provisioning, is essential. Key Skills: Hands-on experience migrating Atlassian tools to Cloud Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket & JSM configurations Experience with SSO, identity integrations, and provisioning workflows Proficiency with migration tools and handling complex setups Solid understanding of cloud security, compliance, and performance best practices Scripting and automation skills (Python/Java/JavaScript preferred) Strong troubleshooting and project coordination abilities Preferred: Atlassian certifications, experience with large-scale migrations, and knowledge of cloud platforms or synchronization tools.
