SAP DTP (Demand to Plan) Sr. Functional Consultant

Role: SAP DTP (Demand to Plan) Sr. Functional Consultant Location: Remote Experience: 12+ Years Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced SAP DTP (Demand to Plan) Senior Functional Consultant with strong expertise in supply chain planning and SAP solutions. The ideal candidate should have deep functional knowledge in SAP IBP / APO / S/4HANA PP-DS, with hands-on experience in deg and implementing end-to-end Demand-to-Plan processes. Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, and implement Demand-to-Plan (DTP) solutions using SAP IBP / APO / S/4HANA. Lead demand planning, supply planning, and production planning processes. Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications (FSDs). Configure planning models, key figures, master data, and forecasting techniques. Integrate DTP processes with OTC, P2P, Inventory, and Warehouse Management systems. Support full project lifecycle including requirement gathering, design, testing (SIT/UAT), and go-live. Collaborate with business stakeholders, planners, and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions. Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support and enhancements. Optimize planning processes, forecasting accuracy, and system performance. Conduct user training sessions and workshops. Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience in: SAP IBP (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP) (Preferred) OR SAP APO (DP, SNP, PP/DS) OR S/4HANA PP / Embedded PPDS Strong understanding of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and MRP concepts. Experience in forecasting models, heuristics, and supply optimization. Knowledge of SAP integration (CIF, ECC/S4 integration). Strong understanding of master data (Product, Location, BOM, Resources). Good understanding of supply chain business processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills: SAP IBP Certification. Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or reporting tools. Exposure to integration tools (CPI, PI/PO). Knowledge of S&OP and Control Tower concepts. Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Basic ABAP/debugging knowledge is a plus.
